Day 01: Arrive in Hanoi (D)
Welcome you to Vietnam! Welcome you to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties. On arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in town (rooms are at your disposal from 14:00). Welcome dinner is ready at a lovely restaurant in the Old French Quarter of Hanoi. In the evening you are offered enjoyable chance to watch traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show. Day 02: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, we spend whole day to discover Hanoi, the beautiful capital of Vietnam, by visiting the must – visit places like the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Temple of Literature, the Ethnological Museum, and Restored Sword Lake.
It comes the time to take city tour to the Old Quarter of Hanoi on cyclo to travel around 36 streets where each street was named after the product it traded, such as Hang Bac (selling silver jewelry), Hang Muoi (selling salt) and explore the traditional values of ancient Hanoi. And it would be greatly regrettable not to enjoy Hanoi’s delicious specialties which feature elegance and uniqueness of Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi – Halong bay (B, L, D)
Today we take a 165km drive heading toward Quang Ninh Province to discover one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam, Halong Bay. Recognized as the World Natural Heritage site in 1994 and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2011, Halong Bay fascinates its visitors with the stunningly spectacular seascape and unspoiled natural scenery. Also known as “The Place of thousand caves and islands”, Halong Bay is endowed with unaffected limestone islands, exceptional beautiful grottos and caves such as Dau Go, Thien Cung, Sung Sot, which definitely impress you. Let’s laze on a wooden junk, enjoy the cool wind and emerald water while the delicious seafood lunch is being prepared. Halong Bay is also an ideal place for many interesting sports like swimming, kayaking that you should not miss. Dinner is served on board with awesome fresh seafood. Overnight on boat.
Day 04: Halong bay – Hanoi – Danang – Hoian (B, L)
You’ll have western breakfast on boat and then spend the morning cruising Halong Bay and explore the beauty of the bay. And after lunch, the cruise ends up at the dock at around 11.30AM to check out the boat and head backwards Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for a short flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred by guide and driver to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 05: Hoian (B)
You have a wonderful chance to explore Hoi An. The town center is pedestrian-friendly and conveniently accessible from your hotels. Immerse yourself in the great charm of this lovely World Cultural Heritage Town and explore some of beauty spots there like Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung House, Japanese Bridge.
After the tour, you are free to explore the town. You could hire a bike to relish the picturesque surroundings along the route to Cua Dai beach with lush rice paddies, friendly locals and beautiful landscapes. This culture-rich town has abundant things for you to experience. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 06: Hoian – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, is your free time to walk around the ancient town, go shopping, admiring the ancient architecture or relax at the beach.
Today we will fly to Ho Chi Minh City – one of the most modern cities in Vietnam. About 02 hours before the flight, our driver will come to your hotel and drive you to the airport. When arriving a the airport, you will be taken to your hotel to check -in. Free to discover the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 07: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B, L)
Today our guide will take you to Mekong Delta and we will explore the unique life of local people here.
Cai Be floating market is the first stop on the journey exploring the beauty of Mekong Delta. From early morning the waterway becomes the maze of wooden boats packed with fruits, vegetables, food. Sellers hang up a long pole with a sample on the top to show buyers their products, which is a unique feature of this distinctive market. Afterward, we may make some stopovers at local workshops to learn how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice are made.
There is also a handicraft village nearby where you can see how the locals make rice sheets, fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt and sew coconut-leaves for cottage proof.
In the afternoon, a delicious local food lunch will await you to enjoy. After lunch, we will travel around in a rowboat and see the traditional wooden houses, palm trees and the daily activities such as fishing and picking up fruits in the Mekong Delta.
You can also stop to visit nursery garden where young trees of different types of fruits are cultivated by the skillful growers of the Mekong Delta to produce the world famous fruits and vegetables.
The cruise will end at around 3.30PM. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 08: Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap (B, D)
After breakfast, it is your own free time till our private airport transfer for your flight to Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap, picked up and transferred by guide and driver. You are free to relax in the swimming pool after the flight.
In the evening, you cannot afford to miss the chance to enjoy dinner with the traditional beautiful Apsara Dance. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 09: Siem Reap (B)
Start your morning sightseeing with a visit to Ta Prohm, one of the massive temple complexes in Angkor area. Ta Prohm’s state of ruin is a state of beauty: being bounded by massive tree roots and jungle and still remaining the condition of the whole complex as when it was founded, which attracts many tourists. Continue your journey with visiting to Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins where the fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art are well-preserved. Continue exploring the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. The must-visit list is inclusive of the Bayon, a well-preserved and richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor Complex featuring giant smiling stone faces, the Terrace of the Elephants with stone walls of elephant, Baphuon temple, Leper King Terrace and Royal Palace Enclosure area. Then visit one more ruin in Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will visit one of the floating village on a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, a natural reservoir that partly controls the level of floods in the Mekong Delta. You will return to your hotel for checkout and then be transferred to the airport for your international departure flight. End of tour services.
