The biggest and newest entrant to the Vietnam beach scene is the 500-rooms Sofitel VinPearl Resort - opened with Soft Opening on 25 Dec 2003.  It is a five storey fronting the sea on a private bay below the hills. At 57, 000sq.m, it will be Viet Nam’s largest tourism resort.

 

The Sofitel VinPearl Resort is a 10-minute boat or hovercraft-ride from the jetty near Ana Mandara Resort. Guests will be brought up the crest of a hill by a Hawaiian tramcar, where they can confront the scale of the resort, before descending to their grand hideaway. The place may not appeal to all tastes but as an all-inclusive, private, Club Med sort of escape.

 

The Sofitel VinPearl Resort situated on Hon Tre island, famous for its crystal white beaches and surrounding mountain valleys, sloping like birds’ wings. Famed for its gorgeous beaches & turquoise waters, the area around Nha Trang is a popular destination for divers from all over the world. The resort boasts 500 rooms, 17 suites and two Presidential rooms. It is decorated in traditional with wooden and rattan furniture, Vietnamese paintings and Bat Trang pottery, is it so special Vietnamese style resort. Most rooms have sea-views. Lotus Café: In spacious lobby area, has open kitchens creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere as chefs prepare pizzas in a wood fired oven, meat & fish specialties on charcoal grills, sushi & sashimi, kebab delicacies, noodles and soups from around Asia, as well as homemade breads, pastries and ice-cream. Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Asian Delights: Offering stunning views of the ocean, is a contemporary Asian Fresh Seafood Restaurant built on a cliff with a waterfall. Enjoy Al Fresco local and Asian fresh seafood specialties from fish tanks or teppanyaki style cooking. Dine outdoors on a large terrace.

The Beachcomber Bar & Restaurant: With indoor and outdoor dining areas, is located on the beachfront. It features popular snacks, light meals, ice cream, pastries and cakes, as well as espresso and a colorful array of refreshing drinks and cocktails.

 

Sea View Lounge: Located in the lobby, is relaxing and offers a selection of thirst-quenching drinks, cocktails, wines, and light snacks. Live music is customarily available in the evening.

The Magic Club: is the Resort's Entertainment Lounge with live band, dancing, shows and private Karaoke rooms.
